We offer day long trail rides and hacks through the Sierra Nevada National and Natural Park. A wonderful opportunity to escape the beaten track and explore first hand the ancient paths and mountain trails of this unique area.

Just over an hour from the coast and an hour and a half from Granada. Ride through oak and pine woods, along ancient waterways, enjoy a delicious picnic of local produce and Spanish wine by a snow fed stream or in the shade of the woods.

Day Rides:

105€ per person (average 5 – 6 hours, with picnic lunch included)

Hacks:

2 Hour Hacks: 50€

3 Hour Hacks: 65€

Weight Limits:

Intermediate Riders: 75 kilos, Experienced Riders: 90kilos

To participate on one of these rides it is necessary to be a competent rider, comfortable and balanced outdoors at all paces on a forward going horse.

All prices exclusive of IVA (sales tax), minimum of 2 hours and 15 euros for each additional hour.

 A totally different world. Just over an hour from the coast, an hour and 30 minutes from Granada and 2 hours from Malaga.

The stables are open all year round, subject to weather conditions and availability.

On the day rides there are a selection of different trails depending on the time of year.

The rides are of 5 to 7 hours duration with a full picnic lunch.

With more than 30 years knowledge of this region Dallas has chosen a selection of trails offering an amazing diversity of terrains, views and flora.

The rides follow ancient bridle paths and drovers routes, dating back to the time of Moorish occupation and before. Many of these paths have been in use for a thousand years or more, as have the terraces and irrigation channels they transverse.

Great Horses

This is my fourth ride with Sierra Trails and it’s been an absolute pleasure. The horses are in a league of their own, muscular and very responding, the guide and the owner, Jeanette and Dallas, are extremely competent in their field.

Amazing Trails

The trails are amaziiiing and the company always enjoyable. The lunch is either taken on the hill side or in the pine woods and everything is homemade.
